Nickajack Fun RunNickajack Elementary School Fun Run – A Community Event
Saturday, November 6, 2010
9-10 a.m. (Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.)

There’s no place like the Silver Comet Trail to spend a crisp fall morning! Join us there on Sat., Nov. 6th for Nickajack’s 2nd annual fun run. The “Nickajack Dash,” a 1-mile run/walk to promote healthy habits and community, begins at 9:00 a.m. on the Nickajack campus, located at 4555 Mavell Road. All ages are welcome! Refreshments and a raffle will follow the run/walk.

Entrance fee is $10. Register by Oct. 15th to receive a t-shirt and race bib. We are currently seeking programming for all students. Let’s run, walk or stroll together to make our community healthier and our school a better place!

  • The updated day is on Thursday for garbage pick up and recycle.
  • They will no longer get garbage from the underground cans.
  • All garbage must be in garbage bags inside the Smyrna Garbage cans.
  • They will not be responsible for personal cans left at the curb.
  • Small trash pickup will be done on Thursday.
  • Larger items must be called in by Wednesday for a work order to be issued and there is a charge for some items to be picked up.
  • No yard debris is to be put in the Smyrna Garbage cans.
